Anyone watch on the outdoor channel on tuesday the show SASQUATCH: Mountain Man. About this guy living in the wilderness using traditional bow and Hawkins muzzle loader. Also does trapping.

I do and really enjoy it. growing up in the 80's, that Hawken was top of the line. However, he was using a compound bow on an Elk in an episode. Not sure what kind of muzzleloading pistol he carries. Makes me want to get a Lyman muzzy!

I have a Lyman pistol and Cabelas Hawken in 54. I highly recommend them. The rifle is good for deer at 100 yards+ with just irons. The pistol.....well it is fun. Up close and personal that 54 cal bullet would make a big deep hole.
