I ordered a Les Baer Custom Carry Comanche, and had it shipped straight to Dave Severns for some further customizing before coming home to me.
Naked slide, then I had Dave engrave "Dark Knights" on the rear left of the slide. This is my last unit before I get out, and that's our name, so I figured it was a tribute of sorts to them.
He also put on some Ed Brown ambi safeties, an STI long carbon trigger, his Hard Hat metal treament, flush and crowned the barrel, and a few other things that slip my mind right now. The frustrating thing is that I still haven't been able to shoot it. When I actually have time to get to the range, the range is closed. I'm working on joining a local private range, so hopefully that situation will be corrected shortly.
The Buffalo horn grips are it's daily wear, and the Ivory's are for dress.

Damn, Ryan. That looks real good. Dave does great work for sure.

What grips did you end up putting on the Beastbob? Still the amboyna or did you end up with buffalo on there too?

    Are you following me? :whistling:
I like the Amboyna's that are on it. I will probably put Ivories on it for dress, but for shooting, I use the Amboyna's. They always grab attention.
I'm thinking about a set of Anaconda skins for it too. That's on my "when I have time" list that never seems to get done for some reason.
    Thanks Hokie!

Thank you gent's! Maybe someday, I'll actually get to shoot it! It's heartbreaking to get a new pistol in, load it in the range bag, along with 500 rounds and go to the range only to find them closed. I was tempted to begin its break in process in the parking lot. (Just joking of course, before someone thinks I'm serious).
