    There may be lower turnout in the states affected, but the percentages are probably going to be the same.

    End result = not much change.

    I've no doubt of that. But I doubt it will happen. Just lining the bird cage to soften the fall (assuming there is a fall).

    Article 2, section 1, clause 4 of the constitution, it vests the Congress, not the President, with the authority to set the election date.

    "The Congress may determine the Time of choosing the Electors, and the Day on which they shall give their Votes; which Day shall be the same throughout the United States."
