Does anyone have any experience with the CruzerLock 2 encryption software that comes with their Cruzer Mini flash drives? I just got a 4GB drive and I want to make sure that my data is secure. Perhaps someone can recommend a different or better encryption software ... Thanks!

I'm not at all familiar with the CruzerLock 2, but with both my hard drives and flash drives, I use Truecrypt. I also use DriveCrypt (which is basically a non-free version of the same software). Both software packages trace their roots back to E4M - Encryption for the Masses.

You won't find a better encryption that's easier to use than TrueCrypt and the user manual is outstanding in the basics of encryption. And the price is right.

I don't bother with the software on my 256 MB Cruzer.
