San Diego is having a really bad year!

  1. Sad. Given that this occurred at approximately 0300 hours, I have to wonder if this wasn't avoidable had all the drivers been more alert.

    Speed kills. No question about that.

  2. Over 20 years of highway experience tellls me there is just about nothing you can do to avoid a vehicle stalled in the left lane on a highway, especially in the dark. We don't fault the drivers when this happens.

    Then he was struck while trying to render aid to the other driver.
