Anyone here own a Saiga 223 AK with the Magnolia State Arms adapter that accepts AR mags?

Seems to be reliable at feeding. Wondering about how well built it is and if it will last over the long run.

I guess if the adapter starts to malfunction I could remove it and go back to using my galil mags. That would suck if it malfunctioned at the wrong time.

Commonality of mags/ammo with my AR would be nice and the Saiga's are so cheap.

I don't have one, but have heard of issues with fitting it properly so it works right. There are other adapters out there as well.

Do a search on the Saiga-12.com website for more specific responses.

If I were you I would stick with the Galils. I went with Surefires (both plastic and steel Weigers) and am quite happy with both.
