Will not cry at work.
;w R.I.P. Woof ;w
I tried to tell myself that, too.
Im not crying but for some reason my damn allergies keep making my eyes water a bit when I read this thread.
Ed, give Woof a scratch behind the ears for me...;1
The Rainbow Bridge
By the edge of a woods, at the foot of a hill,
Is a lush, green meadow where time stands still.
Where the friends of man and woman do run,
When their time on earth is over and done.
For here, between this world and the next,
Is a place where each beloved creature finds rest.
On this golden land, they wait and they play,
Till the Rainbow Bridge they cross over one day.
No more do they suffer, in pain or in sadness,
For here they are whole, their lives filled with gladness.
Their limbs are restored, their health renewed,
Their bodies have healed, with strength imbued.
They romp through the grass, without even a care,
Until one day they start, and sniff at the air.
All ears prick forward, eyes dart front and back,
Then all of a sudden, one breaks from the pack.
For just at that instant, their eyes have met;
Together again, both person and pet.
So they run to each other, these friends from long past,
The time of their parting is over at last.
The sadness they felt while they were apart,
Has turned into joy once more in each heart.
They embrace with a love that will last forever,
And then, side-by-side, they cross over...together.
I exchanged a few PM's with Woof a year or so ago. I was quite impressed with the kindness of the man and his underlying gentle sense of humor. I will be among the many here on GT who will miss his posts.
Although we were never close friends, I can say one thing--
It was my good fortune to have known him.
Oh my hell that is so sad. RIP Woof;1 ;1 ;1 ;1 ;w
Damn, what sad news. We lost a true class act.
R.I.P. Ed, I hope we meet at the bridge.
we are going to miss him here. This needs to get stickied for a few days.,
RIP my friend; you will definately be missed.
You're right, Sidearmor. Ed got Yabba after Woof died. And that thought had reassured me, too, knowing he and Woof were together again.
He always made me laugh, and his avatar always made me smile. I'll miss him.
My prayers go to his friends and family. He was a goodguy.
RIP, Mr. Woof;1
Prayers and condolences to his family.

Woof was one of the most kind and gentlemanly members of this forum. I always enjoyed his posts, and his clever humor. We've lost a good one...
