The world is lessened with his absence.
Ed was a class act and will be sadly missed by the numerous lives he touched.
I changed it for a short period of morning.Glad it helped you find this thread.
It was sad to change it back but I felt the appropriate time had past.
I have not been here very much for a while. I have been looking in from time to time, but not posting much. I do remember Woof though. He will be greatly missed. There are a great bunch of people here and it is very sad to loose one of the greats!!
God will take good care of you Ed!
RIP WOLF ;w ;w
How old was he and what was the cause of death?
i did not know woof but being a christian i like to say that god takes care of his childeren and i hope he is enjoying heaven and he and his family will be together again one day.
wow.... i can't believe what i'm reading here.
good bye old friend. apologies if this has been posted already, but i thought it appropriate.
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....
godspeed to you Ed. and god bless those who love you.
I never knew Woof but I cried upon reading this thread. A friendly bump for our good friend.
Just 'cause it's been a long time, and it's holiday season, it's time for a bump, even thought this is stickied. I still miss the "woof" posts....
ANY man who is a true friend and lover of animals is a saint
Just thinking about you, Woof.
Hope you are resting easy.
I've known about this thread, but never read the whole thing until now. It took several days because I would start to cry and have to leave it for a while. I never had the pleasure of reading any of his posts, but from all the posts here I can tell I missed out. Heaven is a better place with you there, Woof.
Yes ma'am Woof was a riot for sure and his Golden Lab made sure he had plenty of funny stuff to post. I doubt the citizens of heaven have stopped laughing yet. Rest in Peace dear sir.
I cant believe how long woof has been gone.. its been over 10 years!!
I still think of him..
r.i.p. Ed, i'm sure woof is by your side keeping your feet warm.
and looking over the whole thread a lot of members are gone to but not forgotten..
Man... Almost seems like an eternity.
I was thinking yesterday about okie, and found it hard to believe he's been gone almost a year and a half. Seems so much longer.
