Neither because barrels are too short.

  3. My son has the 45 micro and I have the EMP 9mm. Sorry I can't speak in regards to the EMP 40. Both are great weapons. Nice fit & finish and seem to be flawless after break in period of approx. 300 rounds. My son loves his and I love mine. The short barrel makes for a " Nice compact CCW packages" in my opinion. Both guns are very accurate to boot. What's not to like! I'm sure the 40 is just as nice as the other two.

I can't speak about the Micro .45, but the EMP 9 will out shoot group wise alot of fullsize .45 out there if the shooter is up to it and the correct ammo is used.

no to the .45 because it may have feeding issues.
.40 is a bit snappier for a small gun.

  6. I have the Micro .45 and the EMP 9mm. If a 9mm is too light for your taste, and the .45 a little too stiff, then the EMP 40 might be your choice.

I can tell you that the Micro .45 is accurate, but has a stiff recoil with more barrel flip. It takes me a lot more practice to bring it under control consistently to shoot as tight as the 9mm. The EMP 9 is very pleasant to shoot and extremely accurate.

I prefer the 9mm because I have a lot more confidence in my ability to hit the target accurately and consistently. With modern cartridges, its a 'man stopper' in my opinion.
