I have a 340PD and love it. I want a Smith with a 3 or 4 inch barrel made in Scandium. I am wanting a K frame. Is there such a creature? If anyone has one a picture would be nice. You can post or email me pastor@fbcirving.com

315 Night Guard will be the closest to what you are looking for. 2.5" barrel, scandium frame, steel cylinder. 24 oz.

Actually, altho' it is NOT a K-Frame, the Model 386SC might be close...the one with the Ti cylinder...

Seven-shot Ti cylinder, L-Frame .357, 2.5 or 3.2 inch barrel, around 18.5 ounces unloaded with the LONGER barrel...about "Carry Gun Perfection", IF you can carry something BIGGER than a J-Frame, IMHO...HTH....mikey357

Thanks for the help. Is not the L Frame and K Frame close to the same size? According to the S&W website the 315 and 386 both come in the K and L Frame. Now I just have to find one!

I guess I didn't know Smith still produced guns on the K-frame. I thought they replaced it with the beefed up L-frame.

    I think the 8 shot 327 is a N-frame. (large frame)

    The 386sc is a L-frame. (medium frame)
