Does anybody here have any experience with the 640-1? My wife is interested in the new ones with the enclosed hammer in 357 mag., she also wants the CTC laser grips. She plans on shooting 38 spl +p in it, but likes the heft of it and the trigger as well. She looked at the 642 Airweight but it is too light for her. I like the versatility of 38 spl, 38 spl +p and 357 mag. What say you? Are these in limited supply? I can't find many of them, and they seem a little on the high side.:wow: Any good advice would be appreciated.

DEFINITELY a steel frame & my personal preference of those J's, is the 640.
(I prefer S&W, but the Ruger SP101 may be a consideration...though concealed hammer would still be a good choice)

*Got 640, for my wife, if I can ever get her to carry it. It's hard, because she's a High School teacher & spends so much time on campus (where she can't ).

    Her 640:
