I was using Winchester Supreme 230 grain SXT in my Sistema. Never had any difficulty with feeding or misfeeds. Seems like Winchester has discontinued this round.

The gunshop here in town had Winchester Supreme Elite Bonded PDX1 230 grain JHP's. I have not had a chance to shoot them yet, so haven't switched out my carry ammo in my pistol. Has anyone had experience with these rounds? Any failures or FTFs? The reason I ask is that the profile is different from the SXTs to the PDX1 rounds.

Probably just going to have buy a few more boxes and see how they run through my gun.

I tried a couple magazines through my gun yesterday. I shot one mag and my 11 yr old son shot another mag.
My son has never had a failure before, but had 3 FTFs while shooting yesterday. I don't believe I had any failures.

I suppose he could have been limpwristing, but as I said, no previous failures when shooting this gun in the past.

I think I may try Corbon rounds that are avail at my local gun shop. Their profile seems a lot closer to the profile of the SXTs I had been shooting.

No issues thru 60 rounds thru 2 different 1911s (Brown Kobra Carry & S&W 1911).
