    Ruger SR9.

I looked at one at the gun show yesterday. Does anyone have one? What can you tell me about them? Them seem to be a Ruger sleeper.

My good friend has the SR9C (compact model).

When shooting at the range, it compares very favorably to my Gen4 G26...although when new, my G26 had some issues (FTF, etc..) while the Ruger was trouble-free.

Good quality, solid performer...definitely a sleeper in the gun world.

Not a sleeper at the Fort Worth Will Rogers gun show this weekend. Hot seller according to some dealers. Very appealing gun for 399 + tax bucks!!!!

I looked at another one at Academy Sports yesterday. They raised the price $25.00 since my last visit two weeks ago. They are now priced at $449.00.

I don't care much for the trigger. Other than that, they feel good in hand.

I've gotten brass-to-faced by the last Gen3 G19 I purchased and, after reading about the SR9 for about a month, it looks like a very cost-effective Glock alternative untill I get brave enough to venture back into the Glock fold. Also appealing that it's made in USA even with all the silly safety gizmos.

I love my SR9c - close to the size of a G26. You can also use the 17 round mags which extends the grip length. All in all a great shooter.

I had the SR9 and it was perfect through 3k rounds. Sold it but still have the SR9c that has also been fantastic. Great pistols. I have the LCP, LC9, SR9c, 10/22, and 22/45 which makes me a Ruger fan. For the money the SR9 is a great option.

I have a week old SR9C and after 400 rounds I'm still having trigger reset issues. That’s what I get for straying from Glock’s.
