Someone asked that recently in another thread...I thought the consensus was that not enough or any have gotten into the hands of the people this question applies to(da smiffs)?

Where have you seen this answered?

You'll enjoy either you buy....they are both good products. For the money, the Ruger is the better choice at this point.

Plenty of interviews out there where their reply is Colt or Springfield.

I'd go with the American Made Ruger.

Back to the subject....if you are only considering the SA Milspec and not the Loaded or RO, I would go with the SR1911. You get more pistol for the money, hands down.

A guy is asking a perfectly reasonable question, Quark decides to provide a comment without any links, basically useless.

He is called out on it and then goes into his typical whiney, "I'm the almighty Quark, you should just hang on my every word."

    Not buying it.

It's a shame a fairly small, but vocal group, on this forum treats every topic here like their own little private club house.

But being the schoolyard bullies that they are, punch them square in the nose and all they can do is go crying home to momma.

I'm not playing their games and they don't like it...too bad.

go listen to interviews with the top 1911 smiths, you will see that a Colt or Springfield mil-spec and GI are the common choices for custom base guns. what's hard to understand about that?

nope, you are trolling, plain and simple.

who's bullying? it sounds like you are.

your remarks are asinine, which is why you got banned from another forum.

The word useless was not needed in your response. I see people make comments like Quack made all the time. Most just say links or links PLEASE, not useless. If you want to be respected here show some respect of your own or you can keep getting nailed every time you show up. As a man of the cloth surely you understand that. I pray you will change your attitude.

P.S. Just noted your spelling of Quack, "Quark" very respectful. You sir are an azz.

Without links to these "interviews" the comment is not helpful.

What's hard to understand about that?
