  1. Ruger is providing a website to easily contact your state and federal legislators to let them know you support the Second Amendment. I challenge every person on this forum to complete the 60 second process, and then to pass the link to your friends and family. Please do this today!

I normally don't go for stuff like this.
    But this time is different.

We law abiding citizens need to speak up now,
more than ever, to protect our rights.

This one is great, it adds your state representatives, Biden, and Obama to the email list. Take 30 seconds and do this!

Already have sent emails but another one never hurt. Thumbs up to Ruger!

  9. Great job Ruger! Very easy to do and SUPER important! Now... We also need to PRINT OUT A COPY OF THAT LETTER AND MAIL IT TO THEM TOO! Think how easy it is for some snotty staffer at your Rep's office to just click and delete hundreds of these. Send them a hard copy too! Well worth a few stamps!

Bill Ruger actually drafted legislation banning "high capacity" magazines and proposed it to Congress during the George Bush administration in a selfish attempt to protect his mini 14 and 30 from a ban. That legislation proposal was then used by the Clinton administration (and Feinstein) as a model for the high capacity magazine ban (then dropped to 10 rounds) in the 1994 crime bill.
