Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with these mags. I have an LAR-8 and I have always used different varieties of metric and inch FAL mags. Some had a few issues, others ran great. Having trouble finding more reliable mags due to the climate these days, and am on the fence if I should grab myself a couple of them.

RRA states that these mags are made primarily for their .308 lines, and they can not guarantee that they will work in any other rifle. I'm just curious if anyone has used these mags and what their feedback is. Thanks!

Well...I went ahead and ordered 10 of them. The day after I ordered them online, the option to purchase them went away. I'll post feedback once I see how they run.

Lastly, I need 8 .308 19rd DPMS steel mags. Been waitng for a while to get them....Midway was supposed to have them in stock today....but now the site says "overdue". Tried calling them today but they are closed...hope they become available on Monday. I refuse to pay $100 a piece for them on GB. If anyone knows who has them in stock at a reasonable price, please be so kind as to point me in the right direction. Thanks!!

These mags are a PITA! They require a LOT of fitting to fit properly in my LAR-8. Once fitted, they operate just fine though. I can't get them to drop/release free when empty though...perhaps if I sand down the sides around the magazine? Ugh...

I can't comment on them, but I have found that you mostly want to stick with a magpul product if you want to feed out of polymer.

I wish they would make some to use in my Armalite.
Finding magazines for that is a pain in the ass, as they are modified m14 magazines.

I couldn't find magpul....figured they would be ok since they came from RRA and all rifles now come with the polymer mags...

Anyone know if these RRA mags are supposed to drop free when the mag release is pushed? Not sure if I should continue shaving away polymer with sand paper. This is really a pain...

Ugh....can anyone suggest how one would go about making these mags drop free?? Where to sand/file down? Thanks.

Can anyone tell me what part of the magazine in the "spacing tab"? I filed down the locations where the RRA instructions told me to....but it wasn't enough. I sanded down the edges a bit and now it drops free. Thank you.
