What are RP concealed carry laws? Is a permit possible for a US citizen? Must they be applied for in person? TIA!

I don't think it is possible for a US citizen to get a concealed carry permit or PTCFOR (Permit To Carry Firearm Outside Residence) as what we call it here, since non-filipino citizens are not allowed to own a firearm in the Philippines. Although there might be some other way, maybe thru the US embassy.

It will probably be a direct agreement between your LE agency and our PNP (local police). But definitely not for the ordinary foreigner with a valid CCW since we do not recognize any reciprocity in our carry laws. Heck, we're even having a hard getting one ourselves. :(
