Ronpaul2012.com attempted cyber attack..

Discussion in 'Political Issues' started by RyanBDawg, Aug 21, 2011.

  1. Apparently the ronpaul2012 website was attacked by an attempted cyber attack earlier tonight. Thankfully the cyber-attack was blocked and donations are back on track...

Apparently someone doesn't want Ron to raise all that money! :tongueout:

Donations look to hit at least 2 million by noon tomorrow! Not bad for 24 hours!

I saw nothing at the link you posted to indicate that the RP website was attacked. Was this a not so subtle ploy to get more traffic?

Please provide proof of the attack.

Edit: Did some quick research and it appears that the servers may have not been up to the task due to the high volume of traffic. I will wait and see. As for RP I'm glad he's getting his message out, the establishment needs to hear him, but I still don't think he's presidential material.

    Regards,
    Happyguy :)

I hope he gets enough money to get his message out. The American people should know who he is, and vote accordingly.

Where is the story about the attack? Any chance this is a false alarm? Cyber attacks are illegal. Any story about this being reported to the authorities?

The media ignores him on so many levels. Why should this be any different?

Well, that is an assumption. There should be a report to law enforcement somewhere.

I checked his website and there is no mention of a cyber attack.

Why would the media acknowledge something that he hasn't even acknowledged?

I guess Ron Paul is either ignoring himself or his supporters are a little...

It could have happened, but this cyber attack is starting to shape up to be as credible as another recent cyber attack.

Here are some screencaps of the story for the doubters..

  14. I don't have a hard-line to campaign headquarters! But I think it goes without saying that they probably reported this to the authorities...

Here is another article talkng about the money-bomb and attempted cyber attack..

I donated to the money bomb. I'm sure the cyber attack was done by a Perry supporter and therefore Perry should be held accountable. LOL

I'm a little skeptical. I'll wait until some more comes out about this before I'm gonna buy it.

There are a lot of tech savvy RP guys out there. They'll get to the bottom of it.

  17. Not a single reputable source has reported this alleged crime.

Not a single neutral source has reported this two-bit hoax.

If you Google it, you'll only find lunatic fringe sources like Infowars, PrisonPlanet, AboveTopSecret, and some more obscure tinfoil blogs regurgitating the same line.

Either it didn't happen at all, or it's a cheap imitation of the Reichstag fire; some troll in his mom's basement trying to make history and save the world before school starts again.

Condoned by Ron Paul's campaign, they must either prove it or confess to the coverup.
Which is it? Liar or not? No third choice.

    Reality or Ronulism?

  18. Stand by for an important announcement from Dear Leader regarding his investigation into this stunt.

  19. That's not an article!!!!

    That's a paid advertisement!!!!

Don't you even read before you link?????

It's Warren Buffet's (Berkshire Hathaway) site for paid press releases!!!

Yep, Obama's richest supporter just got paid off by the Ron Paul campaign.:animlol:
