Rino? No. Republican. The definition of a Republican is not yours to make. Just as the definition of a Conservative is not to be left up to the Tea Party folks, etc. Like it or not, Romney is the Republican candidate for President. He will run against the squatter. Those who want the squatter removed will vote for Romney. Those who can't accept reality will sit on their hands and help the squatter.

Doesn't sound like a RINO to me. :dunno: He's had the strongest stance on immigration than any major Republican presidential candidate in recent memory.

Our broken immigration enforcement policy has been very publicly well-known for four decades now, so there's never realistically going to be a zero tolerance immigration crackdown. There will have to be just enough reform to guarantee a permanent securement of our borders. How much reform will depend on how many seats Republicans pick up in the Senate in November.

He is far better than McCain and actually has a chance to win!
I'd vote for the Chinese Chairman, if he was running for President against O;bama
At least he would not pretend to be anything other than a card carrying communist:faint:

If you think he is a true Republican you would not know one if they bit you. he is not going to be a lot different on his immigration policy.

Let's just hope Romney doesn't try to issue this as an EO, like our "Constitutional scholar" has.

Thank you he might be better than what we have now but that is not saying much. Romney will dance to what ever music that gets played at the time. No matter what anyone whats to fool them selves into thinking he a not great conservative. Like the old saying goes don't piss on my leg and tell me it's raining. .

Romney wasn't my pick, but I would vote for my next door neighbor for President before I would vote for Obama.

Please show me a post here where anyone proclaims Romney as being conservative, let alone a great one.

It is what it is. Doc usually puts it best; something to the tune of "better a first term liberal than a lame duck socialist". I think that about covers it.
