Looking for a rimfire specific scope for a Ruger 10/22 with a budget of $150, any sugestions?

It will be used for plinking and maybe some small game hunting.

The gun is a Ruger 10/22 Classic III Talo Edition, and the scope needs to be in matte finish.

I just got a Nikon Prostaff rimfire bdc reticle, and I really like it. I bought at cabelas for about 150.

I never heard of them until recently. But Mueller has a good reputation of putting out a quality scope for the $$.

Plan on getting one for my CZ 452 soon.

The Nikon Prostaff is good scope as is the Mueller 4.5-14x AO APV, both are very, very popular with 10/22 crowd.

I ordered a Nikon 4x32 Prostaff Rimfire scope from Optics Planet for $109. I think it will look good on this gun with the matte finish. I hope that sticker they put on it comes off easy, thats just ugly!

This. Mueller has been known in the rimfire community as a great scope for the money, for a long time now.

I just put a Mueller 4.5-14 X 40 APT on my Savage BTVLSS and love it, for the money ($179 shipped) it's hard to beat. This scope has a AO and can focus down to 15 yards, most of the AO scopes I looked at would only focus down to 50 yards.

I can recommend the Nikko Gold Crown 3-9X. Only drawback I find with it personally, is that the parallax adjustment sits on the objective. Would have prefered a sideadjustment. :)

I took this scope to the range on the 4th and love it! No need for a screwdriver to adjust the windage and elevation, the glass is very nice, clear and bright. I would recommend this scope for sure. The quality seems great and it is a very nice looking scope for the price.

Mueller APV scopes are great. Joe Bob outfitters has them for great prices with fast delivery. Great place take a look at them. I purchased both of my APVs from them for my 10/22 and my .17.
