    I was under the impression that if you want to carry a loaded long gun, it must be clearly visible. Could be wrong though.
     


  3. Loaded long guns in a vehicle fall under hunting regulations and they vary from city to city and county to county.

    Ok, that's what I gathered from the statute. How about unloaded?

    Thanks for the replies. It seems like in a lot of the counties, nothing above .22 is allowed. I was thinking more like an AR in the trunk, not so much a .30-06 bolt gun.
