Oh man, that's just stupid good. I've said it before and I'll say it again, if I won the lottery, JB would be getting a phone call before the ink dried on the giant check.

He is an artist, and that impressive pistol is a work of art. They do outstanding work there.

Those guys are amazing. I have a Yost Signature built on a Colt that is amazing. I'd love to have them do a retro build on my WWI repro Colt someday. Seeing pictures like that are great inspiration.

And on the bright side, it appears I'm neither gay nor dead. Cool.

That's the kind of custom 1911 that I'd want to own forever.

  11. WOW...
The before and after pictures would make you think that you are looking at two totally different guns.
    Beautiful workmanship.

  12. What is the number on the bushing? It doesn't match the serial number..

  13. I own a Series 70 Colt Combat Government Model that I bought used in 1986. I added some drop in parts and had the frame hardchromed by Accurate Plating and Weaponry, carried the gun on an off for years, sold it to a buddy, bought it back.

I sent it to Jason Burton at Heirloom in January 2009 looking like this:

He returned it to me in March of 2010 looking like this:
