How many fire houses have that many problems? I have been in the fire service since 86 and granted; some have issues with officers and protocols but not too many with personal issues to that extent. Now we have our problems, but not so many in one episode. I actually do like the show but IMHO not very realistic.

To me, I can Identify with every "problem" in the series, but not to the extreme FX takes it. Plus, one episode is like a year in our house.

I think it is just another show that puts a negative light on us.

with the pickings limited, we don't have much to base impressions on. I suppose our department is could resemble some day-time drama show but overall still a good bunch to work with.

I remember the first episode the cheif talkin about the Stand pipe in the corner building, Thats the kind of stuff I deal with so I get a kick out of hearin it in movies/shows whatever.^c

Just got done watching MOST of it with the guys, we were interrupted with an MVA invloving 3 vehicles, no injuries so we were back in time to see the rerun at 11pm.:)

O yeah, the show kicks butt:cool:

  9. Frankly after the first season I lost interest. Not too hard to believe, but it is a stretch;g

The first time I saw it, I was like, "Great..."The Shield" for firefighters", but I have really gotten into it. Between those two shows, there's actually a reason to turn on the TV eight months out of the year.

I am still laughing about it. Isn't that the truth! Good to have a bond with fellow Firefighters.

At the station or at the house don't miss a episode. We also got interuppted the other night and had to catch the rerun. That show is a trip. Love watching it. I dare my dept. to send us to sensitivity training after the other night!;z

"So what did we learn from this video?"
"Only white people can be prejudice!"

I was laughing so hard at this. I did something like that once, got in trouble for it to!;f

I have not watched this since the first three or four shows. I just happened to catch this episode the other night. It was very funny. BTW when did the Female FF start? What happened to all of the dead people that followed the main character around?

Female FF started like middle-end of last season when one of the other guys died in a fire. The dead guys stopped following him at the end of last season. This season he's seeing Jesus and Mary Mag. Actually, if you'd believe it, its even more *******ed up than seeing the dead guys now!

Our house isn't that dependant on their vices that they need to make a show about it. Although still laughing about some scenes, way too much drama.
