It has been reported that Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez has metastatic rhabdomyosarcoma, an aggressive cancer that has "entered the end stage". The information and the quote come from a highly respected source close to Chavez and who is in a position to know his medical condition and history. This source says the prognosis is dire and that Chavez is now not expected to live "more than a couple of months at most." Chavez is running for re-elec tion in Venezuela but several sources--including the one who revealed the exact kind of cancer-- have told me that they believe it is doubtful the dictator will live to see the results.

Voting is scheduled for October 7th. Chavez has been treated three times in Cuba but the exact kind of cancer has been a closely guarded state secret....

Finally a shovel ready project :whistling:

It's a real shame that he will die in bed of natural causes. The socialist state he created will continue.

He needed to be hung by his heels like Mussolini at the end of WWII, his regime destroyed.

His death might be just the instability that is needed to pave the way for a more friendly government to be installed and guided to where we need them to be.

Edit: Well, that was a "duh" statement. I think I meant that it will be more likely for an outreach to succeed with some gentle behind-the-scenes guidance.

My ex was from Venezuela, and the only one from her family that lived outside the country. I thought I hated him a lot until I heard her comments. Talk about hatred.... Hearing details from people actually living in the capital made me like him even less.

I try not to wish anyone dead, but I will read his obituary with great amusement.

  18. Good riddance to a true piece of s**t. Let's hope that whoever succeeds him will be a far better person.

    Rot in hell Senor Chavez.

Not to mention any names, but I'll bet that a really high ranking politician from the US will attend his funeral. Any takers?
