Remington UMC 45 GAP 230gr FMC

    Anyway of knowing what kind of powder they use? This was the cleanest round I've ever shot. When I picked up the spent cases, they looked brand new. No powder residue whatsoever. I'd love to load w/ that powder whatever it is...

    The cleanest powders that I know of are the Vihtavuori powders. Check them out at www.vihtavuori.fi

    if factory ammo is loaded with a lead free(green) primer, most once fired look like new shells. danglock0152

    Here's the recipe:

    4.6 gr. VV N310
    Sierra or Montana Gold 200 gr. fmj
    Fed primer
    OAL 1.070

    Try it, you'll be amazed.

    Thanks Danny. I've not seen any Vihtavouri powder in my local gun stores, but I will ask about it. Also, thx for reply a couple weeks ago on the cc holster for the G37. I haven't decided on one yet but all the info helps.
