    A good man passed away in May. Baptist minister R.G. Puckett. He was 80, and died of pancreatic cancer.

    Rev. Puckett's career and work reflect the split in the Baptist faith. For many a decade, Baptists were a leading force in the group

    "Americans United for Separation of Church and State".

    Today, many younger people may think such a group merely one composed of liberals and non-Christians. Not so.
