Don't hold your breath for the ACLU to do anything to assist these officers.

Understanding that this might not have been the best judgment, why is this not a first amendment issue?

Lol, after watching the two videos, I'm humored by the fact that things that the rank and file gripe about in a department on the other side of the country have similarities with my department.

Seems the department got what it wanted by demoting several people, though I don't really follow the basis for the cyberstalking charge that they were wishing to file.

As a boss I fail to see the problem with the creative way they are venting...It HAS to be done somehow or they WILL take it out on someone else.
I would love for the "managers" at that agency to sit through a "leadership " class taught by me and defend their indefensible actions... They would look very silly..

They have a control complex and I predict this will be overturned and taxpayers will end up paying for this mistake again, in addition to the wasted salarys of the idiots running that show.

BTW Now that they have disciplined someone it opens the door for ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL of the information talked about to be brought into their civil service hearing it's actually quite brilliant of the officers, a microscope will be focused on the actions that led up to this and I don't see the administrators that orchestrated this botched cover up being able to "well what had happent wuz" their way out of it.

Can you say hostile work environment?

  8. Which is why I think the management at Renton quickly dropped the criminal investigation and potential lawsuit. There is a whole lot going on and frankly, they are not ahead of the curve this time (a take off of one of their ad slogans from the late 2000s).

Darn right I do! Coffee (black, no sugar) is for night shift only; it's a vehicle to transport caffeine into my blood stream. Whoever drinks the stuff for pleasure is nuts!

Sitting at home on days off is hot tea drinkin' time!

Arrrgh! I'm a proud Virginian who married a yankee girl and got dragged up north kicking and screaming. :tongueout:

If it makes ya feel better, my PD wears gray uniforms.
