Reloading Christmas List

Discussion in 'Reloading' started by norton, Nov 23, 2011.

  1. Mrs N asked what I wanted for Christmas this year. I was going to say World Peace, but hey, screw that-
Anyway I am going to ask for my first good bullet mold. Thinking about RCBS or Lyman, maybe Saeco. Want a .452 RNFP 250 grain or there abouts-
    which one do you suggest?

Norton I hate to say it, but after seeing your reloading room. You should get some shoes or something....

You should set up a tent near one of the camp out lines at a major department store. With such weather, you ought to find a few strays here and there.

  5. Man, Steve, those are nice. But pricey. Do you own aluminum or cast iron?
My Lee molds are aluminum. Thinking about cast or steel.

  6. Jack, you don't want one on sale. You want the full retail woman. In the end, they are worth the price.

No, but I really want one. You mentioned Saeco so the price of the aluminum 4 cavity is actually cheaper. EVERYONE on castboolits says they are very good. The maker of the molds says he prefers the aluminum molds. His brass molds are about $150. I weighted my steel lyman and his brass are 2 oz heavier. Brass wont rust either. Get one and tell me about it.

I asked for primers. Small Pistol, Small Rifle, Large Rifle. CCI. We'll see if I get some. Of course, they (the gift givers who love me dearly) know that I will always take ammo as a gift, as well.

Sadly, women are never on sale. They are always expensive, some more so than others. Besides, it pays to spend a bit more and get a really good one.

:santa: I ordered 1,000 rounds of Precision Delta 165 grain FMJ 10mm and 1,000 rounds of 124 grain 9mm FMJ (I even got a sample of 100 of their 9mm hollowpoints which look pretty good).
And, for a stocking stuffer, I got 500 more brass Starline 10mm cartridges. :santa: Santa been very, very good to me. :santa:
