I'm still not into shotguns. I seem to go for the Benellis and the Fabarm. Any thoughts?

Check out the Remington 1100 Competition Master. Watch the Video. Pretty impressive. This is what I want! ;f

But here's what we use for IPSC Shotgun. Escort by Hatsan. It's made in Turkey and our gun club (PB Dionisio) provided our team with a Pump and a Semi-auto for competitions. They're marketing and promoting the Hatsan shotguns. It's actually very good, similar action to the Benelli M1 at 1/4th the price! Libre naman ang pag gamit so ok lang sa akin!

First question is for what application are you gonna be using it for? Home defense, hunting etc.

I you have the $ to spend, get the Benelli M4 It's one heck of a shotgun. Got myself the M1014 Limited (only 2500 made). Otherwise, there's always the good old Remington 870 or the Mossbergs that are well priced.

I'll post some pics of my M1014 as soon as I find that darn software for my digi cam..

    Good Luck!

    Here's a pic of the M1014.

You cannot go wrong with a Remington 870. Bonus: Tons of aftermarket accessories.

I like those Norinco Model 97s because they are just like the Winchester 97s they were patterned after. These guns do not have a disconnector. After your first shot, you can continue to fire by simply holding the trigger back and working the pump. They rival an autoloader.

    Sikat kasi, eh! ;f

Hehehe. Tumaas price ng CZ bec. of the depreciation of the Peso against the Dollar. I got my CZ-85B last year (April) at 38k na rin. Marami ka pa makukuha na sariwang second hand CZ-75B for 20-25k dyan.

Dre, pardon my ignorance. From your statement, I'm picturing the gun firing as soon as you finish the pump stroke (while holding the trigger back)? Is this correct? Thanks.

    Nice!

Magandang mod yan for my future SG. Is that compatible for all types or iba-iba ang firing mechanism bawat model?

A lot of BOGs are partial to the Remington based on posts.

How about the Mossberg 590? It seems like a good buy at 32k. It has 8 + 1 shots and has many options also.

The Mossberg 500 and the Remington 870 are the two most popular shotguns. The Mossberg 500A Persuader with pistol grip that I have looks like the Mossberg 500 Cruiser shown below without the heat shield.

hi GlockST, both are fine works of art:) cant go wrong with either one. i'm happy with my m1 and nova:) also tried my friends fabarm(sdass), nice gun but i kinda like the nova's action and it can fire 3-1/2" magnum shells too. if you want both pump and semi, the m3 is a good choice, but prefers more powerful ammo in semi mode. the m4 is nice but for 100k, i got the m1 and nova(2 is better than 1). havent tried the sat8 yet.

  18. The Remington 870 is the standard for which all other shotguns must be compared against. Kung baga sa 1911 e Colt, sa polymer guns naman e USP (hehehe);f, sa SMG e MP5 at sa assault rifle e yung AK-47.

For the last 5 gunshows, I'd never seen a classic 870 for sale; the last I saw one was the parkerized 4+1 at PBD selling for P34K IIRC. Panay Mossberg at long barreled Rems, Benelli's and Winchesters na ngayon ang nagkalat. Tapos yung na ngang mga turkish made na Sarsilmaz, Karatay Tactik and Hatsan na dala ng PBD. Aluminum yung chambers, compared to steel sa Rem. For 17K-25k, you do gets what you pays for. Kung pang bugbog lang naman sa laro e, bakit ba hinde? ;)

If I were to get one now, Benelli M3 semi-auto ang choice ko, yung 9+1 ata yon. Tapos isang over/under para makalaro din ng trap ala Richard goma.
