    PRODUCT WARNING AND RECALL NOTICE

    FIOCCHI 9MM LUGER 115 GRAIN FMJ

    Fiocchi of America, Inc. is recalling several lots of 9mm Luger, 115 grain FMJ ammunition that was imported from Fiocchi Munizioni, Italy.

    Through extensive evaluation, Fiocchi Munizioni has determined that the lots listed below may contain defective propellant. The propellant in this ammunition may cause squib loads which could cause firearm damage, and subject the shooter or bystanders to a risk of personal injury when fired.

    DO NOT USE FIOCCHI 9mm Luger, 115 grain, FMJ ammunition that has a lot number listed below:

    The ammunition Lot number is stamped inside the box tuck flap.

    To determine if your ammunition is subject to this notice, review the Lot Number. If the lot number matches any of the lot numbers listed above, return the ammunition to Fiocchi of America via United Parcel Service (UPS) or FED-EX Ground. Securely pack the ammunition into a corrugated cardboard box, write “CARTRIDGES, SMALL ARMS ORM-D” on the outside, and ship to:

    Ozark, MO 65721

    Replacement ammunition will be shipped to you. Please include a name, address, phone number, and complete shipping address (we cannot ship to post office boxes).

    This notice applies only to Fiocchi 9mm, 115 grain FMJ from this list of lot numbers. Other products or lot numbers are not subject to this recall and should not be returned to Fiocchi.

    I had some of the recall ammo and phoned them today. They will mail a fed ex label to you and once they receive it they will mail out replacement ammo to you. I will let everyone know how it turns out.

    I returned 700 rounds and received replacement in about 5 weeks - no problems

    Last year i bought 1000 rds of 9mm,by the time i checked the
    list of lot numbers, i had used up most of my supply. I
    never experienced one problem. VERY fortunate i guess.
    I like FIOCCHI ammo, it makes my Glock 19 sing!

    What about FIOCCHI .40s&w
    I have shot alot of it and I have more.
    Should I be worried?

    That scared me. I have two boxes but both start with 47XXXXX. So I quess I am OK.

    Boy my ammo is old. Checked the code on my box of Fiocchi and it's only 6 digits long.

    This must be somewhat old. I have a 250 pack I bought a couple months ago with a 10 digit lot number.
