I was able to get out this past weekend and shoot my G19 for the first time in about a month. Since I don’t have access to my own range or access to my friend’s property, I took a drive to New Ulm to check out The Hunter’s Den.

The range has a very professional atmosphere. I shared the range with a gentleman that was already shooting when I arrived and about 30 minutes into my shooting, a pair of gentlemen started shooting.

The range itself is about 25 yards in total length, and you can set the target trollies to any distance between you and the 25 yard max with just a flick of a switch. I'll have to remember to get some larger targets.

Despite the high rate of $15 an hour to shoot, the Hunter’s Den is a great place to shoot indoors. I think it’s worth while to stop in once a month. It’s pretty nice for really cold days, rainy days, or if your outdoor range is unsheltered.
