I was able to make a quick run to the range and use my membership (birthday gift from my wife). This is about the fifth time I've gone shooting with my gun since. I shot about 60 rounds and focused on two things: 1. Pulling the trigger with the pad of my index finger. 2. Focusing on the front sight with both eyes open. It went pretty well. I just started sighting with both eyes open about two range visits ago. It was odd and a bit blurry at first, but it's much easier now. The trigger pull with the pad helped a lot too. I was gonna shoot only 50 rounds, but then I decided to try something with 10 ( 10 rd mag) more. I shot at a silhouette target alternating each shot between the center of the target and the head ( 5 up top, 5 down below). All but 1 of the lower shots were in the 10 ring, the other in the 9. Only 1 of the upper shots were in the head, the other four were in the neck and chin area. I think I'll do that more often........it was fun.
