Just wondering if anybody has ever been there. I seen and advertisment in our local paper and sent an e-mail to them. I got a nice reply from Randy, but it is somewhat of a drive for me, and was wondering if it was worth the trip. Honestly, it is the only range that I know of, other than the puble range, the will allow for long guns.

    Thanks in advance....

  2. Not sure where you reside in N KY, nor have I been to Randy's range in Sparta so I don't know if its worth the drive or not. As far as ranges that allow high power rifles, there is The OpenRange indoor range in Crestwood (Oldham County) that allows virtually any rifle up to and including .50 Cal BMG. And to boot the Rifle Range is 100 yards long (yes it's indoor). Very nice and computerized - just kinda pricey ($26 / hr on the rifle range).
