Drunk, naked, driving a `98 Trans Am, and then fighting with cops??

Dude now has some serious country music street cred...

Ha! Made me laugh! I think this is the second DUI he's had this year (haven't read the article). IIRC, he got picked up after a sports games earlier this year.

Yes, I believe he is doing "research" for his song writing.

What's with all the celebrity DUI's lately? Is it a quick way to get back in the spotlight?

He's a damn good singer already. With shenanigans like this, he's making a push for the top of the all time greats list.

Bravo! No THERE'S an asinine act of drunken belligerency that even Hank Williams Sr. would be proud of!

It won't be so funny when he kills someone. Take the fool's license permanently and if he gets caught again, shoot him dead. I hate people who drive drunk.

A real shame how far he has fallen. He came over to the Sinai and visited with us troops on a distant OP (21) while I was over there Thanksgiving of '89. He seemed like a really great guy and took the time to talk to all of us, making small talk and such. Then he played a few songs, hopped on the Huey and went back to the main base to play a concert for the troops at South Camp. I remember wondering how many "stars" would give up their Thanksgiving to hang out with the troops. Sad situation indeed. Hope that he gets some help and can bounce back from this before somebody gets hurt.

That messy 2010 divorce and subsequent lawsuit probably hasn't helped. No excuses, just sayin'...

That's kind of how I feel. We see threads every so often on here about a drunk driver killing someone and people being shocked that the drunk already had four or five DUIs.

Two DUIs in five months? I think it's time for Randy Travis to buy a lifetime bus pass.

He was a little hell raiser when he was known as Randy Traywick, before he became famous. I had a run in with him myself when he was about 15 and I was a deputy. I think his ex-wife/manager was a lot older than him and kept him straight or at least kept everything out of the news. Now, without her influence, he seems to be going back to former ways.

Randy is still a great singer. However, as with many artists, he has his addictions. I hope he recovers.

So he mouthed off to the Cops and his face still looks pretty good? Time have sure changed.
