    Mr. Ayoob..

I have been reading your articles since i first got into handgunning back in the 90's from American Handgunner and always value your opinion.....

I just ran across some Winchester Silvertip .40 155 grain ammo....i can not find much current info about this round online and am wondering what you can tell me anything about it, good or bad.....i carry a Glock 23 or a Glock 27....

thank you for years of insight...

I've seen several 155 grain .40 Silvertips after they were dug out of deceased bad guys. All achieved optimum penetration with surprisingly good expansion, and resulted in immediate incapacitation. Also very accurate. A "best buy" in my opinion, and one of my very favorite .40 loads.

    best,
    Mas
