How do you like this rifle with a longer heavy vent ribbed barrel; is it worth buying it?

I already have Yugo underfolder, Yugo M72 put together by the Century elves, and Saiga in 7.62x39.

Just wandering how the quality of M72 AK/RPK compares to aforementioned
AK type rifles, or a Romanian cousin AES 10 AK?

Try shooting a fixed stock Yugo before buying. You may not like the odd fit of the stock that seems to hit some people in the side of the face. The RPK is suppose be a machine gun. As a semi auto it's a heavy AK. They are interesting to add to the collection but not everybody likes the extra weight or the odd fit of the Yugo stock. They may keep their value a bit better than others. As least the extra kills any recoil so they may be nice for a long day at the range. The fins/ribs on the barrel do nothing to dissipate heat. The Yugo RPK barrel is a bit shorter than other RPK's.

Another difference that may or may not matter is the Yugo barrels are not chrome lined and the Romanian barrels are chrome lined.
