If I want to change to a different caliber on the RL550 do I need both a die set and a caliber conversion kit?

    The short answer is yes.
The long answer is depending on what caliber conversion you own and what caliber you want to load.
Take for instance 9mm and 40 sw. they share the same shell plate so you only have to buy new buttons and funnel instead of a complete caliber conversion.
