I honestly dont see my self needing flash suppression.. I see where if i was in a SHTF scenario shooting at night where i guess it could help.. But lets get real. This rifle will be range/HD/training carbine. I could give 2 ****s about the guy next to me, or someone at the range saying my carbine is loud. Speak it to me guys i have no experience with anything other than a A2 this will be permd on a bcm 14.5 middy with a DD rail more then likely :wavey:

The Surefire is a PITA to pin - it's really tough, and hard to drill into.

If money is no object.... Battlecomp 1.5 gets my vote by leaps and bounds.

If you don't care about flash, noise, or blast.... and want a comp Rainier XTC best bang for the buck IMO.

Don't think the xtc will make it 16 inches . What's wrong with the pws or surefire

The XTC will make it by miles for the length: 2.2 Inches...

I can only speak of the PWS vs the BC never shot a rifle with a Surefire... but you said flash isn't a consideration with is why I think the BC is better as a comp and it has very good flash hider capability. I like the PWS if a can is in your future otherwise I don't like the looks. I would go Rainier if cost was a consideration it's a great comp/flash hider combo for $50... the BC is a almost as good a comp but better flash suppression than the XTC. Of course this is only my humble opinion... others are more experienced... but I do own both and have tried others.

I do want to try it but bcm doesn't offer it boxer , was looking at the pws but I guess 60$ difference isn't a big deal for the bc 1.5

You can't go wrong with the Battlecomp IMO.

Compensation with the BC1.5 is ALMOST as good as the Surefire 556k, but with a lot less blast and flash. Honestly, I'd go with the BC, just due to the reduced blast.
