Does anyone here have any personal experience with any of the Playstation 2 boot disks?

Which ones work without a mod chip?

  2. In what country are you? Those boot disks that work without a mod chip only allow you to play DVD games from other countries. They are already chespest in America so in America there's not much point in using them.I've messed around with them but there's no advantage to using them in America.

    In the USA :)

From what I've read, you can use a PS2 boot disk to run back-up copies of your games. As I have a 4 year old who loves to use the disks like frisbees I would like to backup my originals just in case.

  4. For runing back ups there are no boot disks that work without a mod chip.Making back ups is a bit of money and a lot of time and effort. It would be cheaper to just replace as needed. All that painful back up stuff is for countries where the games cost much more than here.
