My wife just qualified for her CCP. She was using a G26 that she bought herself. She never got a chance to shoot it before the class but did well. She is right at 60 and has some issues with her strength but did great.

That is great and Congrats !!! I want my g/f to get her permit to carry. In my state, you don't have to take a qualifying class, just be over 21 and have references...I don't understand why more people here don't get it....

It's nice to be united about exercising your rights in the same way. It's also nice that you take a minute to let others know you are proud of your wife to support and acknowledge her accomplishments. Good job! :wavey:

Congrats to your wife... And to you! My wife was quite uncomfortable around guns when we first got together, but things are slowly changing. Two nights ago, she asked me to show her how to operate my AK, and last night she asked if "we" are members of the NRA. She said she wants to learn how to shoot... I am so proud of her.

Treat your wife to something special (non-gun related) and let her know you are proud of her. It's nice to see more folks out there excercising the rights that so many want to see taken away.

    Good for her.
Because so many people are reactive not proactive.

The liberal thinks it will never happen to them because they carry the torch for the same people that will eventually "hunt them".

I got my first carry permit back in 1974. Wife never was for or against. I suggested she think about getting one a few times over the years and about 3 years ago she said "I think I'm going to start to carry". Took the class a couple days later and now she don't go anywhere without it. Seniors are "thug magnets" and we need to fight back!
