I volunteered with GRNC yesterday to go to the General Assembly offices and pass out literature to the Representatives and Senators. It was a rewarding experience.

As I was dropping off some stuff in Mike Hager's office, he called me and the fellow I was with into his office for a chat. We spoke for about 10 minutes on several items he wants to propose legislation for, two of which are the ability to carry in a restaurant where alcohol is consumed and the other that limits the availabilty of CHP holder's information via the FOIA.

I got an e-mail this morning with a listing of the House bills introduced today and both of those items are list in HB17 sponsored by Burr, Hager, Hollo, and Bell.

Please reach out to your respective reps and ask them to support these measures. I will contact Paul Stam's office although my request will likely fall on deaf ears.
