So I picked up an NM prefix Springfield Loaded.
It's going to be a bit of a project gun, I have the following planned:
-Round butt or bob-tail still undecided
-Sight change, 10-8 or ???
-Carry bevel, very light, just knocking off the sharp edges
-Thumb safety blend lever upon install
-Blend slide to frame at rear
-Blend GS fit
-Harrison short trigger
-Blend contours of slide stop
Will have to farm out the refinish, plan on CeraKote

Got a little more accomplished on the Loaded today. Worked on the trigger guard, knocked the edges
from the slide & slide stop. I also relieved the trigger guard to front strap slightly, it's very subdued.
Will work on the barrel bushing a& thumb safety tomorrow.
Small parts are practice, do not wish to screw up the Wilson Combat slide stop & safety.

And the rest of the pics,.....

Funny, I have the same project but in Stainless. Just about done checkering the front, not something I'm itching to do again but would probably be a whole lot easier the second time! Lots of parts waiting to go in, yours is looking great, I may have to round butt mine too!

Awesome,.......a stainless model would have made finishing a bit easier.
You have some serious nards doing a checker job. No way I would attempt
that.

Post a few close up pics of your work! Once again, I applaud you for your determination!
