I have windows 2000 pro running, I have a Nikon coolpix 2100 I have tried several times to load the software for the usb connection. The sw loads fine but when trying to get a good connection for the usb part it fails every time. When I connect the cable to the camera and pc, it detects a connection and then fails. I know the cable and camera are good because all of it works fine on my windows 98 computer. Also on the 2000 pro computer the usb ports are both good, I can make my mouse work in either port. So what is the problem, is it the USB driver sw on the CD? I tried going to the Nikon site but I cant find any downloads or patches for this usb problem. Anyone else know what I can do ?

    try removing the Nikon software.

then plug the camera into the computer.

let windows load it's own drivers.

open my computer and see if it has your camera listed.

    explore to images.
