I have an LLC that is a Florida Corp. The company is in NC. People do this all the time with Delaware, no?

The ATF just sent me a letter with "Proof (Articles) of corporation required." and then hand written is "need to show incorporated in N.C." I included a copy of a letter from the state of FL indicating I am in good standing and am an LLC. It has no address on it, but it does have a certificate number and a website that they can go to and verify that would also show I have the LLC address in NC.

I *really* need to be incorporated in NC? That doesn't seem to make any sense whatsoever, but maybe I am missing something here?

Thanks in advance for any help. :crying:

You need to talk to a lawyer about interstate corporate issues and NFA. I recommend contacting guntrustlawyer.com
