printing the desktop

    Quick question:

    How do I do a current screen capture of the desktop?

    Click on the PrintScrn/SysRq key (next to the F12 key).

    This puts an image of whatever is on the screen into Windows' clipboard.

    You can then run the Paint program (Start -> Accessories -> Paint) and select Edit then Paste.

    You should see the image of your desktop in the Paint window.

    Click File, Save As and give it a name.

    You may want to save it as a JPEG if you will be emailing the image .
