Was at a gun show today and saw 2 Glock 19s and one Glock 23 on sale for $489 each. All three were Gen 3 models and were FDE. My understanding is that the FDE comes at a premium and suspect that these were pretty good deals.

Am I correct? Do I want to back and buy one of the 19s?

From my limited observations the first run of the FDE guns seemed to sell out quicker and at prices slightly higher than black Glocks however this second run to me does not seem to be selling as quickly and seems to be priced closer to the black versions. This may just be a product of my imagination and/or location, however. Where the same people selling black Glocks and if so how much?

I think that is a good price. I bought a first run Gen 4 and paid $600.

Sounds like a decent price to me also. Since they do not offer the FDE as a blue label if I wanted one I would pay that.

That is a good deal. If your in the market you should go back and get it.

Gen 3 G19's are all over the internet for $499 new. When I was shopping around, the Gen4 19's were $515. They are now around $542 or thereabouts. That's what I just paid at a local dlr for my Gen4.
