Presbyopia = farsightedness resulting from a loss of elasticity of the crystalline lens with age.

Went to the range today with my G19. I did not have a problem before with the G21 using my usual shooting eyeglasses. Today, I had a difficult time maintaining a focus on the front sight of the G19, probably because it was a few inches shorter, suddenly I had to push the gun away from me to maintain foxus and my arm was not long enough. Front sight was still blurred.

Getting old is not pretty. Will visit Eyecutter tomorrow and have new shooting glasses made. Nothing like an Opthalmologist who's a shooter to boot in getting shooting eyeglasses.

I'm nearsighted and at my age, I can safely assume na presbyopic na rin ako.

When you reach this stage, a shotgun seems to make more sense.

Went to Ideal Vision this PM after visit to Eyecutter. One hour lang kuha ko na sports glasses ko. Di naman ako lumulutang, Kitang-kita front sight at blurred nang konti ang target. Went to Armscor Makati this PM with the G19. Ok na. Pero kelangan pa mag-practice nang konti sa distant targets.

Went to the range today. Tired out the new sports glasses with the G21. It's really great. No more trouble acquiring the sights. Thanks Doc EC. buti na lang me Optha na shooter.
