Retracted. Posted a deal on a generator and then found it wasn't really that hot.

Lower than normal price on Israeli gas masks from Amazon, $18, they've been as high as $30.

Anybody got a line on MRE's? I've been retired from the Army Guard for 10-years and still have about 24. I should probably order a couple of cases...

Looks like a Kipor generator that's made in China. Buyer beware. We've had nothing but problems with Kipor generators we bought for emergency response.

I also noticed the same issue with Generac generators that are very similar, but haven't looked to see where they are made. May be just another brand. There's a reason Honda generators sell for their price, and this generator is selling for its price. Buyer beware

I've seen those the last month or two at a couple of our wholesalers, but never tried one. They have gotten mixed (at best) reviews; typically things like much louder than other similar-size units and minor construction issues. Pieces breaking, etc.

Just hear-say, never tried them myself. Personally, we use a lot of honeywell security and fire products. But honeywell is known for buying products, and even entire companies, to put their name on; so one honeywell product can be very different, and different quality, from another.

Radioshack has 33ah SLA batteries on clearance for $55. They don't sell chargers, but those are available online. Usually those batteries are upwards of $70-$80. I've got one for my Ham gear, could also be used as the basis for a battery kit with a small inverter.

For some reason the forum censored the URL like it's a dirty word? The censored portion is "b o t a c h", is that a naughty word? If so I have no idea what it means.
