    Meh...
Spend the princely sum of $25 and slide in a 32GB micro sd card. Try this in an Apple.

You cannot install apps to the sdcard, that is the main problem and why I'm waiting for the 32gb version to become available.

While root is available, there is no custom recovery yet, and no way to unroot.

If an Apple product came with a 50% bloatware load you guys would be going crazy.

If an Apple product came with a 50% bloatware load, I would not buy it.

So nothing changes. You care way too much about other people's smartphone choices.

    Really?
I can do it on my older Android phone running Gingerbread.
I'd think it'd be child's play to do it on a newer phone.

Of course you can install them on a card... And this makes it really easy switching phones.

He's not the one that brought up Apple in an Android thread however.

Exactly, gingerbread. Was taken out in ICS, I believe.

Edit, without root access, of course. That changes everything.

Ice Cream Sandwich does allow moving apps to the card...at least my phone does. (Pantech Burst)

Link2SD is an App that moves other Apps to an SD card.

I hope someone at Samsung gets some sense and kills Touchwiz and the related worthless applications.

Touchwiz has some decent touches and some of the apps are marginally more useful than the first thing you might find in the Play store, but overall is is just a bloated mess of worthless garbage that costs Samsung an arm and a leg to produce. If they want to brand their phones, they should provide a custom theme for stock Android and keep their most useful applications. Cut the fat.

Such great hardware (aside from their AMOLED screens) attached to such garbage software. Truly disappointing.
