    This one I bought in an estate sale for $200:wow:

    It is a Norinco Factory 26 and has NO IMPORT MARKS and ALL MATCHING NUMBERS!!!! I believe it to be either a Korean or Vietnam War bring-back. There was also a surprise hidden in the buttstock - two tattered pieces of cloth. Not sure what they are from or how long they were in there, but VEREY COOL nonetheless!

    All in all a FANTASTIC find for $200!:wow:

    I have an all original russia-45 sks.its got a star and 1954r stamped into the wood and on one spot on the rifle.I wont bother posting pics of it since it is nothing special yet..Im thinking of changing the stock to a tapco one...

    Lol..So I take it your against changing the stock then?I just thought it made more sense to change the stock to make it more modern...maybe im wrong??

    If there is one SKS that should NEVER be messed with, it is the Russian SKS-45!

    I have one too, and it is staying just the way it is because it is HIGHLY COLLECTIBLE!!!!

    If you want to "modernize" an SKS, use the Yugo, like I did.

    I know most will say im crazy,but i like shooting the sks better then the ak...IMO..what do you think??
    I was going to make a thread so I could make a poll,but wasnt sure if it was worth starting a new thread,some forums hate that..
